Gastronomy

Tapioca

The original recipe was created by the Indians, who wisely took advantage of all the properties of cassava to create the most varied recipes. Over time, the delicacy became popular, gaining new fillings and tastes and taking care of tents, kiosks and other commercial establishments, responsible for leaving the days and nights of many Brazilian cities still delicious.

Salted or sweet, tapioca is served hot and is a special part of northeastern culture, although it can already be savored in any other region of Brazil.

Acarajé

Originating in Bahia, the acarajé is a cookie made of bean-clawed pasta and stuffed with shrimp, vatapá or caruru and pepper. A very important detail to note is that the dish can be served 'hot' or 'cold', being cold with little pepper and hot as hot as possible.

Cachorro Quente

In fact, the hot dog was not originally bred in Brazil, but in the United States. In Brazil, however, the best known American street dish in the world has gained several adaptations, sauces and seasonings. In addition, each region wanted to give its special touch to the recipe, creating as many varieties as it allows Brazilian creativity.
